The Air We Breathe
Air is one of the most essential elements for life, and every day I experience how important it is. First experience: Last year, during winter, I visited Mexico City. The air was polluted, and it was hard to breathe. I walked downtown, and I realized how dirty air affects people’s health. I wore a mask and tried to stay in open spaces. Second experience: Two months ago, I went hiking in a forest. The air was so fresh and clean that I immediately felt relaxed. I climbed a hill and took deep breaths. That experience reminded me that natural areas are treasures we need to protect. Third experience: Last week, at school, we had an environmental activity about air pollution. I worked with my classmates to separate waste and discuss solutions. I felt proud to participate in something that helps us breathe cleaner air.
