Forest in danger
Deforestation is one of the biggest environmental problems in the world today. It means cutting down too many trees in forests without planting new ones.
Trees are very important because they give us oxygen, clean the air, and are home to many animals.
In many countries, forests are destroyed to make space for farms, houses, or industries. Sometimes people cut trees to sell the wood. This affects nature in many ways. Without trees, the soil becomes weak and it is easier for floods or landslides to happen.
Also, many animals lose their homes, and some of them may disappear forever.
Deforestation also affects the climate.
Trees help control temperature and keep the balance of rain. When we cut them, the weather becomes hotter and more unstable.
I think it is important to take action now. We can plant more trees, recycle paper, and support programs that protect forests.
If every person does something small, together we can make a big difference for the planet.
