Leonardo: The Air We Breathe

Volunteering in an international program about air protection has been a meaningful experience. The program, called *“Clean Air, Healthy Life”*, focuses on reducing air pollution in big cities and teaching communities how to improve air quality for a healthier future.

As a volunteer, I felt inspired because clean air is something that all living beings need to survive. I participated in campaigns that promoted the use of bicycles, public transportation, and renewable energy instead of fossil fuels. I also helped organize workshops where children learned about the dangers of smog and the importance of trees in cleaning the air.

Here are my recommendations to protect the air:

1. Use bicycles or walk instead of driving short distances.

2. Plant trees and protect green areas.

3. Save energy at home by turning off lights and devices.

4. Support renewable energy projects.

Clean air is essential for life. Protecting it means protecting our health and the health of future generations.
